Cupping and Gua Sha are two amazing parts of Traditional Chinese Medicine. Cupping dates back over 3000 years and was even used in Ancient Egypt!
Cupping is used to help increase circulation, decrease inflammation, and even stimulate the production of Heme Oxygenase-1 which has antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, antiproliferative, and neuromodulatory effects! Gua sha produces the same enzyme but uses a different technique. They both feel amazing and are great ways to stimulate your own body’s healing response!
